Panattoni has launched the construction of a new space within its logistics complex Wrocław Campus 2. The developer’s flagship project in Krzyżowice near Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesia, will expand by 102,000 sqm. The first tenant of the new phase will be DSV – Global Transport and Logistics, the world’s largest logistics operator, which will occupy 45,000 sqm. The remaining area will be developed speculatively.&nbsp;Poland remains one of the most attractive markets in Europe for the development of companies specialising in contract logistics services. DSV’s decision to expand in Krzyżowice reflects both this potential and the resilience of the Polish economy, which, according to Consensus Forecasts, is expected to grow by 3.3% this year and next.<blockquote>“High service quality and flexibility combined with competitive costs and an excellent geographical location are Poland’s key advantages. From Lower Silesia, we can deliver shipments to customers in Germany and other Western European markets within 24 hours. Investors appreciate this predictability, which is why they continue to locate their international distribution centres or production lines in Poland,” says Piotr Wojtkowski, Sales and Marketing Director at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics.&nbsp; “At DSV, we respond to both current and future expectations of our clients and the market. The investment in new space in Krzyżowice is a perfect example of this approach. We continuously analyse opportunities for further warehouse investments – both through leasing and self-developed projects.”</blockquote>Wrocław Campus 2 marks the second phase of one of Panattoni’s largest developments in the Lower Silesia region, where the company has already delivered 2.36 million sqm of modern industrial space. The first phase, comprising approximately 54,000 sqm, has been completed and fully leased. Construction of the next and final stage is now underway. DSV will begin operations in its new facility in 2026.<blockquote>“Following its recent acquisition of Schenker, DSV has become the world’s largest logistics operator. The facility will feature advanced technologies in thermal insulation and intelligent heating and cooling control. The space will also be customised to the specific operational needs of the logistics operator.&nbsp;In the process of selecting the site and negotiating lease terms, DSV was advised by a team of experts from JLL.&nbsp;<blockquote>“When developing the concept for DSV’s new space, the main focus was on tailoring the facility to the pace of operations and the scale of handled shipments, with particular emphasis on solutions ensuring the highest quality and enabling further expansion. The cooperation between JLL, Panattoni, and DSV will result in a facility that sets new standards for the warehousing sector,” says Mateusz Iłowiecki, Senior Director at Industrial Agency, JLL.</blockquote>According to JLL analyses, Poland continues to strengthen its position as a key warehousing and manufacturing hub in Europe, which naturally drives demand for advanced logistics services. Supply chain diversification strategies and the steady inflow of foreign investments create stable foundations for further growth. In this context, investments in modern logistics parks such as Panattoni Wrocław Campus 2 are crucial, providing the infrastructure needed to handle increasing cargo flows and meeting the high environmental and operational standards expected by global companies.Wrocław Campus 2 is located in one of the most developed logistics areas in Central and Eastern Europe, in an industrial zone 20 km from Wrocław city centre. The proximity of the A4 and A8 motorways ensures excellent road connections to Poland’s and Europe’s main urban centres. Modern spaces and advanced infrastructure make the complex highly attractive to companies from the logistics, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors.The total area of Wrocław Campus 2 will reach approximately 160,000 sqm.
