Experts from Tétris Poland, a company from the JLL group specializing in the design and arrangement of commercial interiors, are handing over a new office with an area of almost 800 sqm. implemented for Auchan. The office, located at the ultra-modern Auchan distribution center in Wilcza Góra, which has been operating since November 2025, is an excellent example of innovative office arrangement&nbsp; in logistics facilities. The office was created as part of the comprehensive implementation of the Build-to-Suit (BTS) project, which was coordinated&nbsp; by experts from JLL. The Industrial and Warehouse Department was responsible for selecting the optimal location from over 16 analysed locations in Poland&nbsp; and coordinating multilateral negotiations with the developer, tenant, technology company Ocado and all other participants in the investment.&nbsp;<h2>A new standard for warehouse offices</h2>The development of e-commerce and logistics automation means that warehouse centers are no longer just operational facilities. They are also increasingly becoming the workplace of office teams that expect comfort, functionality and high-quality space.The office of Auchan, a leader in the retail market, located at the company's new logistics center in Wilcza Góra, is about 770 sq. m. of office space on two levels. Nearly 40 workstations and five meeting rooms, including one large conference room, are planned in the office. On level 0, Tétris experts created a reception area and a canteen, which serves as a common space for office workers, warehouse workers and drivers. Level 2 includes both single offices and multi-person offices, a director's zone with facilities, a dressing room, as well as a coffee point combined with a chillout zone.&nbsp;<h2>Comfort of working in the office at the logistics heart of the company</h2>As Tétris experts point out, the challenge in the implementation of the project was to ensure&nbsp; the comfort of work for office employees despite the close proximity of warehouse space.&nbsp; To meet this, they have placed a lot of emphasis on acoustic comfort, both in workspaces&nbsp; and in conference rooms. They used carpeting, glass walls with high acoustic parameters and dedicated felt wall and ceiling acoustic elements, which effectively reduce noise and improve the quality of work. In order to illuminate the spaces, especially those deprived of access&nbsp; to daylight, skylights were used. This solution significantly affects the comfort of users, and&nbsp; the automatic shutters used allow you to adjust the sunlight depending on your needs.One of the key assumptions of the project was to create a cozy and pleasant space to work in, which clearly stands out from the operational aesthetics of the warehouse. The architects focused on the right selection of materials and colors to create a more "homely" atmosphere, conducive to concentration and everyday comfort of users. The starting point was the visual identity of the Auchan brand - red and green - but these colors were calmed down in their tones and juxtaposed with shades of beige, burgundy and light wood. The whole is complemented&nbsp; by carpeting, which warms the interiors and at the same time improves their acoustics.A special role in the design of the Auchan space is played by the canteen, designed as the heart of the entire building and a natural point of contact between the office and warehouse zones.&nbsp; It uses durable materials with high resistance, without sacrificing the aesthetics and friendly character of the interior, which are created by warm colors and the use of wood. Strong accents of the décor, such as wall tiles in original layouts or characteristic round ceiling islands, give the canteen a distinctive and at the same time comfortable character.The implementation of the project took place in parallel with the construction of the facility, which required a lot of flexibility and experience from the team in conducting fit-out projects.<blockquote>"The initial stage of implementation turned out to be the most demanding - some decisions and works had to be made during the construction, before the implementation documentation was fully completed. This type of process is work on the so-called living organism, in which good coordination of all parties involved in the investment is crucial," points out Sylwia Drążkiewicz-Kuczyńska, Senior Architect, Tétris.</blockquote><blockquote>"The greatest satisfaction for us in the implementation of the project for Auchan was not only the efficiently conducted design process and partnership cooperation with the client, but above all the positive reception of the finished space by its users. The design of the office in Wilcza Góra shows that high-standard offices can also be created in logistics centers, which realistically respond to the needs of employees and build a good experience of everyday work," adds Aleksandra Wyczółkowska-Gajowniczek, Head of Design Services Poland, Tétris</blockquote>The project also takes into account sustainable solutions. The office spaces use carpet with a low carbon footprint, with more than 53% recycled and natural materials, as well as fully recyclable yarn and substrate. The whole is complemented by energy-saving LED lighting and felt PET elements, which combine acoustic function with a responsible environmental approach.
