"Automation: Three Views on One Challenge" was the theme of the meeting, which was organised by experts from Miebach and JLL Poland for a selected group of clients. Participants in the event had the opportunity to confront their experiences of implementing and operating automation in large-scale facilities with knowledge showing the point of view of practitioners: a supply chain engineer, a developer and an architect. Thanks to the active form of the meeting, each party took a fresh look at the issues discussed in a practical manner, which made it possible to compile key conclusions for future business decisions.
Among the issues discussed were:
- Automation as a way to save time and money
- The golden rules of conceptual design by a supply chain engineer
- The place of automation in the investment planning process
- Awareness of needs in communication with the developer
- Design quality as a result of collaboration between architect and technologist
- Understanding and interpretation of regulations in the design process
