The JLL team supported Frito Lay in: needs analysis, the process of selecting the target location, negotiating the terms of the real estate purchase and sale agreement, preparing the area for an industrial investment in cooperation with a design office, including change of the Study and the Local Plan, obtaining technical conditions as well as negotiating and signing media contracts, obtaining a decision on environmental conditions, obtaining water law permits, obtaining a building permit.
Process
The JLL team was engaged to carry out a strategic process aimed at selecting the location for the construction of the third potato and corn snack factory in Poland. Based on the supply chain analysis, the client defined the preferred plant location in Western Poland.
Results
The analysis of available properties and further technical analyzes allowed for the selection of two potential locations first, and then the final location. The new factory located in Środa Śląska will be the most ecological plant in Europe, using renewable energy sources.
